VESTIGE BINGO
► HERE'S HOW IT WORKS
- Basically, you think up Shit You Want Your Character To Do/Experience in 2021 here in Vestige and make a bingo card out of it. (Or, if you're lazy like Trace, just make a list.) When you're done, toss your card/list up in a comment!
Then, you treat this like the reskinned CR meme that it is and comment around to plot out ways to help others get blackout bingo. Teamwork makes the dream work, even when the dream is 'get murdered by six different ridiculous things in 12 months' or something. (Note that not all of the items on the list have to be things others can help with! Something like 'teach himself how to swim' is still a valid item/bingo space.)

re: magic, putting on my mod hat for a sec to say, you could totally use the Buy Shit page and trade your tag-ins for more magic for her, you'd get to choose whatever you wanted (or generally what you wanted + make me decide the rest, if you'd rather).
i volunteer as the recipient of said disaster in some way because wwx himself is a disaster.
he's also a great swimmer, lotus pier upbringing and all, so he could help her with that if she'd like! pls don't let him teach her to cook, though. his cooking is lethal.
he's definitely got self-esteem and self-sabotage issues that she could probably scold him about sometime. god, just generally her learning more about the fucked-up mess that is their family would probably be enough for her to pick up on some of it. strained laughter....
i'd offer a hug but he's bad at those, unless an arm draped over her shoulder sorta half-hug while they walk counts, once they're at that cr level.

Honestly if she has a Big Disaster related to memories a cast with different canon points and characters like Untamed would probably be able to make good use if it collectively if y'all were so inclined. But yes, good, I will recall this in case she has a smaller disaster to add to his natural disaster-y inclination! Thank you for volunteering him as tribute!!
AH YES what good fortune, he would likely make an excellent swim teacher once the... you know, lake unfreezes. We'll have to figure out some way to make that happen in the future. (She had a talk with Lan Sizhui at one point about learning some cooking from him so she might be safe there unless Papa Wuxian wants to make some possibly not at all helpful contributions in the background)
Re: Untamed family shenanigans, she's been very slowly picking up bits and pieces here and there so sooner or later she'll get his number, so to speak. It's probably inevitable tbh, she already has Questions about sad-tiny-ghost-man-in-need-of-protection Wen Ning that she's been politely putting on the backburner because she's giving that whole situation the benefit of the doubt. WWX's reputation precedes him enough that she's definitely gonna be curious to figure out what's going on with his... everything and will in turn almost certainly come to realize that he requires emotional assistance like, stat.
It's fine, they can both be bad at hugs while walking next to each other because that would be adorable. It might take a while to work up to it without her being too '!!!' about it but it is! A valid goal for the future!!

yeah definitely no swimming now, ripski. also if sizhui is teaching her to cook, he'd also teach her not to let wei ying cook, since that's perhaps an even more critical lesson.... ahaha.
honestly he's a fairly open book re: the interconnected web between everyone and at least the surface-level fuckeries/tensions thereof (he could even draw her a mind-map/web diagram, that might be easier than explaining). also 'wwx's reputation precedes him' is so ominous and now i'm curious what she has even heard.

NGL I have spent many a year considering how I might avail the general public with her powers since it's such a shame to restrain that versatile a plot device, so I hope to finally get the chance to really go for it in Vestige. I'll continue to consider the timing and implementation, then, since I have your blessing. /o/!
Fortunately for all parties involved, Naminé is an attentive student and will take such a lesson to heart! It can serve as motivation for her to learn quickly and well so that she can assist in lowering the risk of fatal cooking incidents when she's around.
She'll probably be a lot more reluctant to ask than WWX is to answer, really, 'cause she doesn't like to cause undue emotional distress by prying too much all at once. ANYHOW the long and the short of what she knows is this; Wen Ning mentioned WWX's ability to control him and a bit about the fierce-corpse-ness, which. Obviously caused Naminé some concern - not the zombie part, the mind control part - and then followed it up with 'but it's okay because he's my friend c:'. Since in KH ~friendship is magic~ she gave that one a somewhat Frysquinty pass, only to find out later that the same guy is apparently Sizhui's dad?? And said soft friend also vouched for him, which makes her want to believe WWX is a good guy (because who would hurt Sizhui like that, look at him he's precious) but at the same time that vouching sure happened fast. Like, 'methinks the lady doth protest too much' rules apply here a little bit, but mostly she's just. Hoping for the best while quietly wondering what the heck is up with this Wei Wuxian guy everyone seems to know. Just wait 'til she finds out he's related to Jiang Cheng so she can put the whole time shenanigans and people from his world being dead thing together and be even more bemused about it.

EDITS: does she follow the network?? because if she network-stalks at all, jc and lwj have argued unfiltered/unprivated and have accidentally (or deliberately in jc's case) dragged wwx through the mud, so that's more that she could know. i can toss you links in our pp if you want

RE: the network she hecking should be, this girl's got internet stalker written all over her. (That is to say, keeping apprised of what's going on there is very much on brand for her.) I haven't been keeping up with it like I should be though so yes please, give me them deets hon so she can have all the more reason to internally punctuation mark to the tune of '?!?'
