upon the initial recognition that someone else was with her, robin was defensive, squatting down to hide herself behind the kitchen's table, but coming back up when the threat became obviously...minimal. it's just a guy, and he's just as lost apparently.

You know..."Your look, your laugh, your smile?" in a mocking sing-song tone. except if he doesn't get the sarcastic pepsi jingle references, she's not going to keep this running gag going.

and it's not as if she forgot she was holding the knife, but it suddenly feels awkward in robin's hand, the one holding open the refrigerator. she's had to kick, punch, fight, but slice and stab? it's definitely an escalation. she shuts the fridge now, but keeps the six pack out, figuring that if she's going to be abducted? she might as well quench her thirst. even if she is more of a tab girl.

Take one if you want. And this is a she turns the knife over before setting it on the table, though still gripping the handle. "use when necessary" situation. So don't make it necessary, and it doesn't get used.

which is meant to be snark instead of a threat; the slight waver to her voice might make that more obvious.
