Use this to update folks on what your character is up to, to reconnect with CR you tagged once and then never followed up on, to make new CR, and (if you utilize the handwaved CR elements) to figure out who your character may have met/what they might have done while you've been busy.

Try to be specific, if you can! Literally nobody knows what to do with 'I want everything', so at least supplement it with a few specific ideas too.

Feel free to either post all of your characters in one comment or a top comment for yourself with each of your characters in subthreads, whatever you're feeling.

⬛ Rhys Strongfork

CANON: Borderlands
WHO ARE THEY?: Rhys is a CEO from a universe where everything is run by corporations. What's a government? He basically restored a company called Atlas from the ashes after being torn down by a certain man called Handsome Jack, rebuilt Atlas's HQ planet and then protected his ownership of it against a siege by another corporation called Maliwan. Because in the Borderlands corporations have armies.

As CEO, he has some typical Borderlands corporate scum traits: A bit greedy, a little stuck-up, kind of overconfident, just a bit of an asshole. That said, his employees seem to genuinely like him and he wants to treat them well, so he's a pretty okay dude!

Aside from that, he has a tendency to stick his foot in his mouth and be a bit of a prick, but he tries to be of help and may occasionally risk his own life to help others. He's also overall kind and caring and tries to be friendly, while also fully expecting people to turn around and stab others in the back because that's also just something that happens in the Borderlands.

CURRENT STATUS: I got nothing tbh
CAN BE FOUND: His cabin is #9! He can often be found around the lake or at the gas station and, after realising it'll be useless this month, he'll be wandering around the town!

CURRENT PLANS FOR THEM: Regarding the town, he'll be very interested in a couple of places: Foodland, the train cars, the greenhouses and the warehouses. Expect a post of him asking for people who could get the latter two up and running.
CR YOU'RE LOOKING FOR: Friends! He just really needs more genuine friends. Not that I'm gonna scoff at negative CR either.

HANDWAVED CR?: I wish I had much to offer but Rhys has just kind of been listlessly hanging out. Since the hatch was a dead end it's like welp. But anyone could have hit him up whole walking around the lake or scouring the gas station for supplies!

HI hello there, it's good to see you brought Rhys along for the CRAU shenanigans! I've been meaning to reintroduce them at a good time if you're up for it, so I thought I oughta stop by your post here to say hello. I'm sure you've heard by now that she doesn't recall Asgard, but she'll be quite curious to hear about it if he turns out to be at all inclined to enlighten her.

Also, in the interest of not cluttering up your inbox, Geralt is an adorable grump and I appreciate that. If any other monsters start happening Naminé will probably want to let him know whatever she finds out about them, since he's more likely to get into a tangle with one than she is.

HELLO I'm absolutely up for that. I probably would've done that sooner if my RP motivation wasn't so flighty the past couple of months lmao. Did you happen to get any particular ideas from the zone expansion? c:

I'm glad you like Geralt haha. He detests the idea that he's in any way adorable but he totally is. If she goes out of her way to make sure all monster info gets to him he'll warm up to her super fast, even if he's already warmed up to her a lot purely because she's so sweet.

I get you there; sometimes the timing just doesn't work out! Hope your motivation picks back up sometime soon since the lack of it's usually not fun. ;A;/ I was going to tag into some of the stuff you had up for him around the beginning of Vestige, but then I noticed there were some threads already going on there that it might introduce continuity errors to so I figured I'd catch up with you later.

As for particular ideas, I noticed in your network post for him that the greenhouses came up. I could have her reply to it about those (because she is juuuust a bit concerned by plants after her whole plant-based villain situation in canon) but that'd probably end up being text and therefore lead to a delay in them actually figuring out who they're talking to. I'm down for that if you'd like to play it that way, but alternatively if some greenhouse stuff sounds like fun and you want them to do something log-related instead, we could use the wildcard on her open mingle post.

I do indeed like Geralt, yes! I haven't watched any of the series and I'm only loosely familiar with a tiny fraction of the games but I keep hearing about how great it all is, and it's fun to see how they work out in a thread. He's kind of imposing but she won't let that stop her from trying to look out for him!! He doesn't seem like a bad guy to her and if he's gonna protect everyone by fighting monsters then clearly helping out is the right thing to do. :|bb I look forward to them interacting more in the future.

Time is fake here, this is true. Although as it part of my literal job to avoid continuity errors, I'm allergic to creating them intentionally on principle. >:'T Shame me for it if you must!! ⬛ Geralt of Rivia

CANON: The Witcher (Netflix)
WHO ARE THEY?: Geralt is a mutant created for the purpose of fighting monsters (and occasionally protecting them) and breaking curses, called a witcher. Witchers are outsiders to society, feared and hated by many, and they swear loyalty to no king or lord. Maybe it's because of the way witchers are treated or because witchers mostly spend time alone in the wilderness without talking to anyone, but whatever the reason, Geralt is a rather grumpy, unfriendly and unpleasant man to be around. He doesn't like people, as a general rule, and prefers to be left alone.

That said, while he tries very hard to act like he doesn't give a shit about anything but monsters and money, that's very far from the truth. He genuinely wants to try to do good and gets far too easily invested in the struggles of others. He also gets quickly attached to people and sometimes tries very hard to pretend otherwise, at least when those people are human and fragile and not powerful sorcerers. If he pretends he doesn't care, maybe he can fool himself and when the human eventually dies he doesn't have to be sad! (He is a fool.)

CURRENT STATUS: He healed from any injuries a while ago and is just his usual grumpy self.
CAN BE FOUND: His cabin is #1! When he's not brooding there, he's usually scouring the gas station (and later Foodland) for supplies or skulking around the forest. With the new expanded map, though, he can also be found at the farm!

CURRENT PLANS FOR THEM: Speaking of the farm, he will try to befriend the horses, especially the brown one. Anyone who's met him may be surprised to find that he's very gentle and patient with them. When he's not trying to win them over, he'll be venturing into the swamp and exploring deeper into the forest. Anyone who would like to explore that mysterious spot in the swamp with him?
CR YOU'RE LOOKING FOR: I live for him meeting people that ping his protective instincts, and anyone that is too sweet for him to want to be mean to. Also definitely here for more friends. Please love this grump.

HANDWAVED CR?: Basically, as said above, he's been brooding at home or hanging at the gas station or scouring the forest.

you know what i want from both rhys and geralt, and that's lalli cr. lalli will slowly learn to be A Friend at rhys even though he struggles more with the more normal human beings like rhys, and he'll... learn... to teamwork somehow, with geralt.

Yessss to both of these. I'm sure Geralt and Lalli can do the teamwork! Somehow. Sure, they're both used to working alone, but Geralt is at least a professional even if Lalli is a gremlin.
