Sup, horrorfiends! 🔪🔪🔪 Time for our first CR Meme.

Use this to update folks on what your character is up to, to reconnect with CR you tagged once and then never followed up on, to make new CR, and (if you utilize the handwaved CR elements) to figure out who your character may have met/what they might have done while you've been busy.

Try to be specific, if you can! Literally nobody knows what to do with 'I want everything', so at least supplement it with a few specific ideas too.

Feel free to either post all of your characters in one comment or a top comment for yourself with each of your characters in subthreads, whatever you're feeling.

Salutations. o/ Although I am canonblind, I'm here because I saw the mention of a certain variety of CR, which is to say that Naminé is very small and careful and generally fits quite nicely into the category of people who require protection. I figure she's at least seen Daemon around since she spends a bit of time by the lake, but if left to her own devices kept her distance and hasn't actually made a point of introducing herself because what is talking to strangers.

I'm not sure how his powers work, but as an aside, if he's at all capable of telling things about someone, she might register as being a bit weird, since she's not fully human and has some pretty fridge-horrible magical/could be referred to as psychic abilities of her own.

Hello friend! (Literal weeks later, heck. Ahem)

Naminé! I am...vaguely versed in KH, in that I've played KH1 a couple times and slammed through KH2 once. And yes, yes. If she's been around the lake, then Daemon would have seen her, though if she didn't do anything to draw specific attention to herself or if he started to approach and she gave any signal she wasn't up for a chat, he would have backed off.

His powers function along the lines of an active psychic power that he can then wield. So if he's gotten close enough to investigate her, he'd probably be able to catch what his canon calls a 'psychic scent' which would tell him bargain basement general facts about her as well as her emotional state. So she probably does twig him as 'weird' but he wouldn't have context for it.

Ah, I'm glad to hear it! Always good to find people who have some idea what the games are all about. Naminé doesn't get a whole lot of screentime in KH2 so if you have any questions about how she works or what her role in everything was, I'm happy to answer them.

As for hanging around the lake, she's generally pretty easy to overlook aside from her hobby of drawing on the shore. She's a bit wary of strangers, so even if she wouldn't have actively run away or hidden from him or anything like that, she's still pretty skittish and would definitely have been giving off some Unsure vibes if she saw him approaching. Whether or not that would discourage him from saying hello I'll have to leave up to you, but presumably if they were to meet in a thread at this point she'd at the very least recognize him as 'that one guy' and be more willing to stick around long enough for a chat.

Oh, I'll def. ask anything if I'm puzzled! KH's canon is just baffling. XD

Hrm, he probably has just been keeping an eye on her from his porch near the treeline, then. So he'd be familiar as 'that one guy' for sure. But I think he's probably tried to avoid startling her.

Canon gets increasingly more strange as the games progress, honestly, but fortunately most of her role is easy enough to simplify even if what it boils down to is 'canon never explained this and probably never will so here's what we've got to work with.' You know, par for the course with KH.

And alright! Sounds like a plan; patience pays off and she'll have grown more curious over time if he didn't introduce himself after she kept seeing him around, so they'll be ripe for the introductions if they happen to meet up somewhere.
