Sup, horrorfiends! 🔪🔪🔪 Time for our first CR Meme.

Use this to update folks on what your character is up to, to reconnect with CR you tagged once and then never followed up on, to make new CR, and (if you utilize the handwaved CR elements) to figure out who your character may have met/what they might have done while you've been busy.

Try to be specific, if you can! Literally nobody knows what to do with 'I want everything', so at least supplement it with a few specific ideas too.

Feel free to either post all of your characters in one comment or a top comment for yourself with each of your characters in subthreads, whatever you're feeling.

CANON: Marvel Comics
WHO ARE THEY?: If you know My Hero Academia, Lana is basically female Bakugo, except she started out as a villain. Lana's mom was a smalltime criminal doing a stint at Ryker's when she was chosen for an experiment that would give her superpowers. What Lori didn't know was that she was pregnant at the time. Cut to 15 years later, Lana and Lori Baumgartner are a bank robbing duo calling themselves the Bombshells. Spider-Man and friends kick their asses a few times, Lori gets sent to high security SHIELD prison, Lana gets put on probation and sent to live with her grandma. Another few years later, Lana decides to start using her powers for good and becomes a superhero, taking the Bombshell name for herself. She starts hanging out with the new Spider-Man, along with a few other teen/young adult heroes. There's some more traumatic stuff that happens but that involves some trigger warnings so I'll leave that out for now.

CURRENT STATUS: all she's done so far is complain on the network and go for a walk with Gilia.
CAN BE FOUND: she's going to move into one of the less run-down apartments in town, because fuck living in the woods.

CURRENT PLANS FOR THEM: she just made a network post about exploring the top of the containment zone, other than that I don't have any plans.
CR YOU'RE LOOKING FOR: more teens/young people; people for her to bitch at/with; anything, really!

HANDWAVED CR?: she's just been chilling. she arrived somewhere during the tail end of the cave in plot, and has just been hanging out in the area around the lake.

Wen Ning | The Untamed

CANON: The Untamed
WHO ARE THEY?: Cinnamon roll who died and was brought back as a zombie fierce corpse by Wei Wuxian. Most of his clan was killed in a war, and then the rest of them who managed to survive thanks to Wei Wuxian's help ended up sacrificing themselves in penance for Wen Ning killing a really important rich boy in another clan. But instead of being killed, Wen Ning was mind controlled and turned into a weapon to serve the ruling clan for 15 years, until Wei Wuxian came back from the dead, at which point our boy Wen Ning said "fuck this shit I'mma go hang with my homeboy." Literal puppy dog, best boy ever.

CURRENT STATUS: uninjured, hasn't really done much since helping dig out the trapped people in the cave in. he's catching a bird for Nie Huaisang, though.
CAN BE FOUND: Cabin #15 with the rest of the MDZS/CQL boyband. probably spends a good deal of time either walking alone in the woods or hanging out with Wei Wuxian and/or Lan Sizhui.

CURRENT PLANS FOR THEM: zilch, nada, absolutely no plans
CR YOU'RE LOOKING FOR: someone to help him discover his own self worth? boy places far too much value in what he can do for others.

HANDWAVED CR?: like I said he really hasn't done a whole lot besides follow WWX/LSZ around.

1. DARLING don't even worry about it! I'm happy to have all of our threads regardless of the pace, and honestly I was really impressed by the work you've been doing!! Everything's so lovely and well thought-out and there are even great pictures, my goodness. I got super excited when I saw all of it and that hasn't faded. I could never hold that against you even if I were so inclined, which I'm not because that would be terrible. Sometimes there's just other stuff you've gotta do, you know?

2. I'm 9001% down for that being suggested at some point because she would be Horrified even though it probably makes sense. she'd sooner take a knife to her own hand tbh but it'd bear discussion at least

I was tempted to respond to Lalli's network post as well once I saw it today, but I think since her log post already kind of screws up that timeline I'll just say she's been giving it some thought and they can discuss it later on since diving headfirst into new areas is not quite her thing. had to wait a day to make sure nothing crazy happened first because she ain't about that being creeped on by unseen entities life.

⬛ VIVI ORNITIER

CANON: Final Fantasy IX
WHO ARE THEY?: Vivi is a black mage who's usually soft spoken and shy. He's about mid way through his canon so he's got a little more gusto in him now and will fucking fight a bitch if they hurt his friends. WITH MAGIC.

But yeah, just a small mage boy who's got a lot of heavy shit on his shoulders.

CURRENT STATUS: Literally just apped him into the game. He is gonna be a confused tiny mage boy.
CAN BE FOUND: Probably confused and wandering around hoping his pals are okay.

CURRENT PLANS FOR THEM: Nothing specific at the moment. Just getting him settled in game right now.
CR YOU'RE LOOKING FOR: Would love all and any younger CR. Hey there other kids. How are you doing? Also older CR is great too! Give him that brotherly or uncle type CR.

She will probably feel very "!!!!" about him, honestly, since she'll recognize him from Twilight Town (and probably end up somewhat existentially concerned when she finds out he's not the same Vivi, because that'll be heckin' weird). Which means that they should absolutely definitely hang out, obviously, because who doesn't need more identity-based confusion in their life?

I'm afraid I've never played FFIX so I'm largely canonblind on that front, but I gave the wiki a brief skim and it sounds like they've got a lot to talk about. I've been meaning to reintroduce them at a good time if you're up for it, so I thought I oughta stop by your post here to say hello. I'm sure you've heard by now that she doesn't recall Asgard, but she'll be quite curious to hear about it if he turns out to be at all inclined to enlighten her.

Also, in the interest of not cluttering up your inbox, Geralt is an adorable grump and I appreciate that. If any other monsters start happening Naminé will probably want to let him know whatever she finds out about them, since he's more likely to get into a tangle with one than she is.

I'm glad you like Geralt haha. He detests the idea that he's in any way adorable but he totally is. If she goes out of her way to make sure all monster info gets to him he'll warm up to her super fast, even if he's already warmed up to her a lot purely because she's so sweet.

1. i just always want to make sure you know your cr is adored, i had this bizarre vestige dream a few weeks ago and one facet of it was that you dipped because you didn't think namine was wanted here or that you had cr that cared and so now i'm extra like !!!! about it, i know it's ridiculous fff

2. consider: a) she'd be more driven to succeed at healing if it's a friend's wound, and b) his roommate has healing magic if she doesn't succeed, so he's taken care of regardless. :')

so!

we have the thread going with ellie and wei wuxian and i definitely plan to tag her with him again for follow-up on that CR in less of a crisis.

but also my scouty boy is gathering people to explore the new area, so if she wants to even peripherally be part of a joint effort in any way, he's got a post on the network about it. he doesn't plan on bossing anyone around, just kind of making sure people are on different routes to cover the most ground + making sure they'll let him know what they found so he can make his skald cousin write that shit down.

since i have built-in cr in place with jingyi, i'm mostly focusing my idea-generation on daemon of your two. i hope you don't mind that i'm including a future character here since i'm For Sure bringing them at some point and it seems like the easiest avenue. HERE WE GO:

- if he's exploring, he's super welcome to touch bases with lalli's scouting crew. lalli's mostly just organizing efforts, he isn't dishing out orders. idk if they'd hit it off on a personal level but i love the concept of him having a network of competent people he recognizes as competent.

- so i'm bringing sally from being human and she's a stupidly endearing and well-meaning mess and is very good for receiving protecc while also not being half bad at delivering protecc in a pinch. he's also the precise type of person she tends to fall in with (attractive, dangerous, edgelord, good heart) so there's that.

those are our two best bets from where i see it!
