basement.

[ the only thing terribly surprising about the way that kokichi wakes up is the fact that he wakes up at all, really. it's not a sensation he had ever really planned on having again, and for a moment he wonders if momota couldn't do it in the end after all.

that idea doesn't do much to explain why the poison didn't take him instead though, or when monokuma decided to start punishing naughty children by putting them away in cold storage.

clicking his tongue softly against his teeth in frustration at his masterful plan going to waste thanks to one soft idiot, kokichi decides to start looking about for some method of extraction. eventually, when no such means reveals itself, he settles for knocking continuously on the roof of his containment. ]

Hello~? This doesn't really seem like entertaining television, headmaster! Don't tell me you're still angry about a silly little prank?

3rd floor.

[ so he wasn't dead, alright, fair enough and better luck next time i guess, but while the poison that deadly little maki roll shot him full of hadn't killed him it's still managed to leave him feeling pretty weak.

finding his belongings in an adjacent room after some good samaritan let him out of his time out box had been less trouble than actually changing into his clothes, but eventually he gets his hands on a beaten down old wheelchair and suddenly he's mobile. the morgue is pretty boring, all told, especially when no amount of snooping uncovers any of his classmates, so he quickly wheels his way over to a nearby elevator and he's moving on up.

moving on up to the 3rd floor, because apparently there's nothing else in between, or at the very least, he's not allowed in there yet (jokes on whoever put him in that box- he's beginning to suspect it isn't monokuma -that sort of thing just tends to make him all the more determined to snoop).

the 3rd floor proves, if possible, even more boring than the basement, but still he wheels himself through seemingly endless hallways, on the hunt for that pot of gold at the end of a rainbow. ]

There's got to be a vending machine around here somewhere, right?
